This agreement between Red Rock Arabians (RRA), Stallion Manager, and _____________________ owner or leasee, is for the purpose of breeding to the stallion, ______________, to the mare identified in this contract for the ______ breeding season using transported semen. The breeding season shall be __________________. Any extension of the breeding season shall be at the discretion of RRA.

The mare owner insures that the above mare has been cultured within the previous sixty (60) day period and has not been bred by either live cover or artificial insemination since the culture was taken.
FEES
The stallion service fee of $_________ shall be paid as follows:

In addition, the following fees shall apply:
Equitainer deposit of $300.00 must be received by RRA prior to the first shipment of semen. This deposit will refunded to the mare owner after the mare is confirmed sixty (60) days in foal or will be credited to the mare owners account.
***** Equitainer late fee: $100.00 per day for any equitainer not back in semen shipper's possession within 72 hours of receipt of the mare owner. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the mare owner by whatever means to meet with the time limits given (if a courier/agent is required to pick up equitainer at customs there will be an agent charged
for equitainer.)
***** Semen handling fee: $250 per each shipment. This fee covers laboratory, collection, and packaging of semen for the shipment.
***Note*** -- At times during the breeding season, stallions may be sent to stallion stations or alternate facilities for collection/breeding or freezing. Their semen handling fees/equitainer fees may be higher than those on this contract. The mare owner is responsible for those fees when semen is being shipped from them.
Federal Express Shipping Charge: $50.00 weekday delivery or $60.00
Saturday delivery. This must be paid in advance of shipment or owner
must provide RRA with their Federal Express Account # _________________.
ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE KEPT CURRENT OR NO SUBSEQUENT SHIPMENTS WILL BE MADE.
Frozen semen charges may vary.
CONDITIONS
The mare owner agrees to hold RRA, its veterinarians, employees, stallion managers, and stallion owners harmless for all damages associated with injury, disease, or death resulting from their decision to use artificial insemination to breed the mare.
RRA shall provide semen collected from the stallion identified in this contract, and makes no other guarantee of the condition of the semen once the equitainer has left RRA, the stallion station or the stallion managers facility. RRA must be notified by 9:00 AM (Central Time), 24 hours prior to shipment of semen (if the semen is to be shipped on
Wednesday, RRA must be notified by 9:00 AM Tuesday.)
Stallion will be collected on an every other day basis, therefore the mare owner must check with RRA on the first day of the mare's cycle to determine which days the semen will be available. The mare owner has the responsibility for the proper handling and insemination of the semen. RRA, its employees, stallion station, stallion manager, shall not be
responsible for the improper handling or insemination of the mare.
Should the mare fail to conceive, or die or not produce a live foal (defined as a foal which stands and nurses without assistance for a period of 72 hours from the time of birth), mare owner has the right to rebreed the mare or substitute mare (upon the approval of RRA). In addition to all fees as given in this contract, the mare must be vaccinated against Rhinopneumonitis during the 5th, 7th, and 9th months of pregnancy or the live foal guarantee will be void.
Should the resultant foal not live for 72 hours, RRA must be furnished with a veterinarian certificate stating the time and date of birth, and the time, date and cause of death within 14 days of death. Proof of Rhinopneumonitis vaccinations should also accompany this certificate. Failure to comply may result in a forfeiture of rebreeding rights.
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between both parties and may not be modified except in writing between both parties and may not be modified except in writing, signed and agreed upon both parties.
